This lesson is the entrance to the course. At the same time you start building your foundation for a new and happier way of living.
You will be introduced to the concept of the course in detail and you will be presented to the idea behind positive psychology. I will give you a personal warning and you will get the first exercises. Throughout the course you will have daily and weekly exercises that will help you on the road to happiness. Positive Emotions are important to be happy
The second module focuses on Positive Emotions and how to get them. The more positive feelings you have, the more you will thrive. Logically it is about getting as many positive emotions and experiences as possible. I will show you how with the weekly exercise.

Modules 3-6 are similar and yet different. There are five areas in your life that are worth cultivating if you want to be happier. It requires too many words here to describe them all, but it is about engaging in life, building relationships, achievements and finding the meaning of life. You will have different exercises every week.

You are changing your life and that takes an effort. In my experience it is important to take a break now and then in order to reflect on what is happening – especially inside you, your thoughts and your emotions. Module 7 is time for reflection. A light module, but you will still have exercises.
Time to study and to be inspired
This module is the theoretical part of the course. Most of the modules invite you to take action. In module 8 I ask you to be curious about yourself and your reactions. In my years of doing this work I have learned a lot, and in this module I will try to inspire you to take even more action. No change without action.
When life is difficult
Module 9 is about difficulties in life. The tough parts of life don't disappear because I or you get happier. There will be pain and sorrows and frustrations. That is quite natural. But you can get rid of some of your frustrations. I will show you how.

I know that this course contains a lot of information, and I don't ask you to change everything at once. I recommend that you choose one topic or area of your life and when you have changed that you move on to the next area/topic. Improve one area at a time and begin with the easiest one. If you do that, you have the best chance for success.
